Manager of Operations - Europe

Current Need 

Manager of Operations fluent in English, French and German 

Position Description 

As a Manager of Operations, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationships as well as the team of consultants on a client project, installing outputs that were identified and sold to the client.  In this role, it is essential to establish credible and enduring professional business relationships with the client. The Manager of Operations is responsible for ensuring that the identified project deliverables are completed on time and are consistent with both the client and Proudfoot requirements for cost, schedule and quality 

Overall responsibilities include:

-   Participating in sales, pre-project analysis and project activities to ensure continuity and delivery of the agreed upon benefits 
-   Designing the operating system, project approach and layout, key event schedules, task force missions, methods improvements,  process redesign and other relevant lead project responsibilities 
-   Initiating areas of additional opportunity within the client organization or related businesses 
-   Overseeing the analysis of work processes, systems, organizational functions and structures to determine where and how to generate measurable benefits 
-   Contributing to knowledge base of the company by developing and submitting methodology, updating current tools or templates, defining, designing and submitting new tools or templates needed within organization 
-   Training client individuals in the effective use of management systems, tools, techniques, group problem solving and team building 
-   Providing leadership and training to consultants including conducting performance reviews 
-   Prepare written and oral feedback, presentation materials, critiques, systems documentation, process descriptions, evaluations, data summaries and reports to client and internal management team 
-   Ensure health and safety compliance of team and for team 
-   Ensure compliance with corporate governance 
     
     
Required Qualifications 
 
-   Bachelors Degree 
-   Fluency in French and German (written and spoken) 
-   Seven to ten years of general business experience, with three to five years within management consulting 
-   Five+ years in a supervisory or management role 
-   Exceptional leadership skills including the ability to train and develop employees 
-   Strong presentation skills 
-   Ability to manage employees and client staff effectively 
-   Capable of leading clients through all phases of the project 
-   Demonstrate ability to manage project costs effectively 
-   Direct knowledge of project design layout 
-   Ability to travel 100% 
-   Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 
-   Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook) 
     
Preferred Qualifications 
 
-   Masters Degree
-   Prior experience in the following industries: mining, manufacturing, insurance, financial services, healthcare, telecommunication, transport & logistics and retail
-   Prior experience in the following disciplines: engineering, supply chain management, training and education, organizational development, procurement, financial analytics, informational technology
